The 2025 Lee Strasberg Film Festival Awards celebrate the art of storytelling and the enduring legacy of Method Acting by honoring exceptional voices in contemporary cinema.

 

This year’s ceremony recognizes outstanding achievements across a range of categories, including Best of Fest, Best Narrative Feature Film, Best Short Film, and key artistic disciplines such as Directing, Screenwriting, Cinematography, and Editing. The evening also shines a spotlight on extraordinary performances, presenting awards for Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Supporting Actress.

 

In addition, the festival proudly pays tribute to the creative excellence of The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute alumni, with special awards for Best Alumni Short Film, Best Alumni Director, Best Alumni Actor, and Best Alumni Actress—celebrating those who continue to embody The Institute’s profound influence on film and performance.
